O.K. where did August go??

So I really thought I would be better at keeping up on my blogging, but I obviously haven't been! Not a whole lot going on this month, 1 baby blessing, 1 new nephew (not the same baby that was blessed, that was a new niece!). Alright, I guess allot did happen just not to us! Lots of warm days on which I hibernated in the house, still trying to get my insulin pump regulated!! We are very close now though!! I was told that my PH doctors wanted to start me on a another drug, in combination with the constant infusion. This would be an oral drug, but they told me I could decide for myself if I wanted to do it, we are still trying to decide because they are now guarantees that it will help me with anything. The other reason we are undecided is the cost, $1300 dollars a month without insurance, $200 to $300 a month would be our portion! We have a minimum quarterly amount we have to meet before the insurance will pay in full. All said and done, with the insurance it would still cost us about $1600 a year. Of course this is on top of diabetes supplies, and all of the other meds I am already on. We are looking into financial assistance on the new drug since it has to come through a specialty pharmacy we might qualify. We are praying that we do, or that the Doctor says not to worry about it and not to try and talk me into this drug! It could make life a little better, but I would kind of be the guinea pig on this one because they haven't tried it on someone like me! (Meaning that anything weird that could possibly happen, both good and bad, usually happens to me!) If it did make me feel better it might be worth it! We are still praying on this one though! Well I think that is all for now, it is a little late, and I pushed too hard this last few days and am in recovery mode right now so if I have forgotten anything I guess I will just have to post again!!
