Halloween 2008!!

Well it is finally over,(darn it anyway) and it is now almost 1:00 in the morning on Saturday and here I am blogging(imagine that!!)!! Halloween was great this year, but not quite as much fun as last year. Trish is really starting to get into the dressing up thing more and more though! I tried to go Trick or Treating with Trish and the kids but about halfway through I ran out of gas and had to walk home. I really kind of pushed a little to hard the last couple of days to make sure we were ready for Halloween and know I will pay dearly for at least a week!!! That is the usual recovery time for me, it might be more this year because I really cranked my back muscles somehow and am still in a lot of pain. Oh well. The reason I say that this year wasn't as good as last year isn't because of a lack of dressing up ourselves, and the house, but because it was a Friday night and there wasn't nearly as many older kids to try and terrify. I don't bother the little kids because that is just too mean, and I don't want to cause to much trauma for them. There wasn't enough older kids though and that is a big part of the fun for me. It's great to watch the 13-15 year olds try to act tough, especially when they have girls with them, and listen to them threaten to hurt me if they think that I am real, so I just have to stand up to watch them run for there lives. Last year one of the neighborhood bully's told me if I scared him he would hit me with a baseball bat, I just couldn't resist an offer like that so I jumped off the swing and barely stood up before he was two houses down the street screaming like a little girl!!! Trisha didn't beat me up to bad for scaring him because he is such a bully, and she was laughing to hard to get after me. I know it sounds horribly mean, and I am not a mean person at heart, but scaring teenagers is part of the Halloween fun!! I used to love to get scared to death when I was younger, and now I get too pass on the fun to others!! By the way I will have a few pictures of me, and the family in our costumes posted in the next few days, if I have recovered that is, and as soon as T. has them downloaded to the computer.
